LMPV Prices Ahead of Lebaran 2026: Veloz Petrol Disappears from Official Site
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.COM – After a brief uptick last month, as we enter March 2026 or near Lebaran, prices in the low multi‑purpose vehicle (LMPV) segment have again shown a slight change. Based on observations, this month Mitsubishi increased the Xpander price, following several brands that had revised earlier. The Xpander’s lower variants or GLS manual, previously offered at Rp 270.1 million, are now Rp 271.5 million on the road (OTR) Jakarta. Meanwhile, its top variant in March 2026 rose to Rp 345 million from Rp 342.8 million. In February, the Veloz petrol was still listed with prices starting at Rp 297 million up to Rp 346.4 million OTR Jakarta. Its status now is replaced by the Veloz Hybrid, whose official price has been announced by Toyota at the IIMS 2026 event. This naturally raises questions about whether units are really sold out.
When contacted, Philardi Ogi, Public Relations Manager at PT Toyota Astra Motor (TAM), explained that all Veloz sales are currently focused on the hybrid model. The news that the Veloz petrol version was discontinued had indeed been circulating since the hybrid version was launched at the end of 2025.
