LMAN Donates Four Containers to Restore Access for Aceh Residents After Disaster

The State Asset Management Agency (LMAN) of the Ministry of Finance has granted four container units to Gampong Gunci Village, Sawang District, North Aceh Regency, to support the construction of access to a Bailey bridge serving as a community link following a disaster. “We hope this support can be part of a joint effort to revive the lives of the people of North Aceh,” said Lukman Hakim Fasa, Head of the Property Utilisation Division II at LMAN, in North Aceh on Friday. The four containers were handed over by Lukman Hakim Fasa and received by Fazir Ramli, the village head of Gampong Gunci, in a ceremony facilitated by the Lhokseumawe Police. The grant is a form of optimising State Property (BMN) to provide tangible benefits for the community while accelerating the recovery of regional connectivity. Lukman stated that LMAN continues to encourage the management of state property to provide optimal benefits for the state and society. “This grant of four containers is a manifestation of LMAN’s commitment to ensuring BMN can contribute to restoring regional connectivity, supporting community economic activities, and strengthening collaboration between the central government, regional authorities, security forces, and the community,” he said. The four containers will be used as part of the construction of access to a Bailey bridge in the Kruweng area, Sawang District. “This infrastructure is the main connecting route for the community after the previous bridge was destroyed by flooding,” he said. Before the disaster, the bridge was a vital link connecting five villages: Gampong Gunci, Sawang, Lhok Cut, Kubu, and Blang Cut. The route also connects Sawang District in North Aceh with Makmur District in Bireuen Regency. “Through the BMN grant from LMAN, it is hoped that access to the Bailey bridge will be strengthened so that inter-regional connectivity can be restored and community activities can run more safely, smoothly, and productively,” Lukman Hakim Fasa stressed. AKP Wahyudi, Head of Operations for the Lhokseumawe Police, assessed that LMAN’s support represents a tangible form of inter-agency collaboration in responding to community needs. “We thank LMAN for their support and assistance in handling the hydrometeorological disaster in Gampong Gunci, Sawang District,” he said. Gampong Gunci Village Head Fazir Ramli said the assistance was crucial as the connecting access is the main mobility route for residents to the district centre. “Thank you to LMAN and the Lhokseumawe Police for assisting and facilitating us so that we could obtain the grant of four container units from LMAN. We will use this assistance as a crossing route to the district centre,” Fazir Ramli concluded.
