L&M Group, Microsoft tie up

SINGAPORE (Dow Jones): L&M Group Investments. Ltd. said on
Tuesday its unit L&M.com Pte. Ltd. has signed an agreement with
PT Microsoft Indonesia to design and implement an Internet portal
for the Indonesian market.

The portal is expected to be launched by May 2000.

L&M.com's joint venture partner, the Jawa Pos Group of
Indonesia, will initially provide news and information content.

L&M.com is also negotiating a commercial Internet system
license agreement with PT Microsoft under a revenue sharing deal
that has yet to be finalized, the group said in a statement.
