JAKARTA (JP): Unseeded Indonesian Liza Andriani delighted her home fans with a surprising win for a semifinal berth in the Astra International junior tennis championships yesterday.

The other semifinal will pit Malaysian fourth seed Eline Chiew against Japanese seventh seed Inue Maiko. The two are the only seeded players left in the girls' singles competition.
In the men's singles, top seed Panja Saurav of India ended Indonesian Eduardus Bawono's run with an easy 6-2, 6-1 win. Saurav will now take on Sebastian Swierk of Australia, who beat Parmar Arvind of Britain 6-2, 6-4. (amd)
