Manado (ANTARA) - For Livinia (21), a resident of Tondano, Minahasa Regency, North Sulawesi, accessing information and services for the National Health Insurance (JKN) programme now feels much more practical.

“I utilise the Mobile JKN application to access various membership needs via my mobile phone,” said Livinia in Tondano on Tuesday (29/9).

According to Livinia, the presence of Mobile JKN provides ease of use, especially for participants who are already accustomed to using digital services in their daily activities. Information regarding membership and JKN services can be accessed without having to visit a BPJS Kesehatan office in person.

“In my opinion, Mobile JKN is very helpful, especially since almost all activities can now be done via mobile phone. So, if we want to check membership information or require certain services, we do not always have to come directly to the office,” she said.

She noted that the ease of obtaining information is one of the most significant benefits experienced while using Mobile JKN. By using only a smartphone, participants can access services according to their needs without having to set aside specific time to visit an office.

For Livinia, this convenience also makes JKN services feel more integrated with daily activities, particularly for the younger generation who are accustomed to relying on technology for various purposes.

“What is most noticeable is that it is more practical and saves time. We can access it anytime via mobile phone. Therefore, there is no need to leave the house if the requirement can indeed be handled through the application,” she said.

Nevertheless, Livinia acknowledged that first-time users of Mobile JKN might need to familiarise themselves with the various available features. In her view, a user-friendly interface and clear instructions would help participants maximise the use of the application.

“I hope that in the future, the application becomes even easier to use and the information provided becomes clearer. If the interface is simple and the instructions are easy to understand, more people will certainly be interested in using Mobile JKN,” she revealed.

Livinia mentioned that the development of digital services also demonstrates that public services are continuously adapting to the needs of the community. Ease of access is a crucial factor, especially when the public requires information quickly and practically.

She also encouraged JKN participants, particularly young people, to start utilising Mobile JKN as a means of accessing JKN services.

“If you already have a smartphone, I think there is no harm in trying Mobile JKN. We can find various information regarding membership and JKN services from our phones. So, I believe this application is indeed quite helpful in daily life,” Livinia added.
