Jakarta — Digital transaction activity at Bank Mandiri (BMRI) has recorded sustained growth, in line with the solid resilience of Indonesian public consumption up to the first quarter of 2026. According to data from Statistics Indonesia (BPS), household consumption grew 5.52 percent year-on-year (YoY) in the first three months of this year, reflecting maintained public confidence and domestic economic activity. As a strategic partner of the government, Bank Mandiri continues to commit to supporting this momentum by strengthening digital financial services relevant to public needs. The state-owned bank is realising this through the development of features and capabilities of Livin’ by Mandiri, which delivers a seamless, practical, and integrated transaction experience to support customers’ diverse daily financial needs.

SVP Digital Retail Banking of Bank Mandiri, Yanto Masyap, stated that the presence of reliable and efficient digital services plays an important role in maintaining the smooth running of public economic activity amidst high mobility and increasingly dynamic transaction needs. “Bank Mandiri continues to strengthen Livin’ by Mandiri as part of its strategy to deliver sustainable excellence through adaptive, relevant, and integrated digital services. We want to ensure that every innovation presented can provide transaction convenience while strengthening the company’s role in building an inclusive and competitive ecosystem that drives the nation,” Yanto said in an official statement on Monday (15/6/2026).

The public’s need for reliable and comprehensive banking services is reflected in the number of Livin’ by Mandiri users, which continues to grow sustainably. As of May 2026, the number of Livin’ by Mandiri users was recorded at 40.3 million, growing 28 percent YoY. At the same time, Livin’ by Mandiri’s transaction frequency increased 19 percent YoY to 2.2 billion transactions, with a transaction value reaching Rp2,083 trillion, growing 19.6 percent YoY. This achievement reflects the high level of public trust in Bank Mandiri’s digital services.

In line with this growth, Bank Mandiri continues to strengthen Livin’ by Mandiri’s capabilities as a super app able to accommodate various customer transaction needs within a single integrated platform. These services include interbank transfers and BI-FAST, routine bill payments, e-wallet top-ups, QRIS transactions at various merchants, as well as travel ticket purchases and lifestyle needs through the Livin’ Sukha feature. The presence of these interconnected features further strengthens Livin’ by Mandiri’s position as the centre of customers’ digital transaction activity within one integrated service ecosystem. Additionally, to further enhance customer convenience in accessing banking services, Bank Mandiri has also introduced the Livin’ Call feature in the Livin’ by Mandiri app. Through this feature, customers can connect directly with Bank Mandiri call centre agents without incurring call charges, so that information needs or service assistance can be accessed more quickly and practically.

These various initiatives are part of Bank Mandiri’s sustainable excellence strategy, which prioritises reliability, scalability, and customer centricity in digital service development. With a measured approach and disciplined risk management, Bank Mandiri is optimistic about maintaining service performance amidst high public transaction activity. “Going forward, we will continue to strengthen service innovation and strategic collaboration to expand inclusive financial access while supporting the sustainable development of the national digital ecosystem,” concluded Yanto.
