Live! Telkom CEO Dian Siswarini Discusses Restructuring and Dividends
Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - Amidst heavy pressure on the Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG), shares of PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. closed higher on Thursday’s trading session (4/6/2026). Ahead of the company’s General Meeting of Shareholders (RUPS) on Monday (8/6/2026), Telkom President Director Dian Siswarini will appear in the CNBC Indonesia TV studio to discuss the company’s transformation progress and future performance prospects. Under Dian’s leadership, the Telkom Board of Directors established the TLKM 30 transformation strategy, which aims to strengthen the company’s business fundamentals, improve performance, and enhance its competitiveness on a global scale. Throughout the first three months of 2026, this strategy supported Telkom’s achievement of booking consolidated revenue of Rp37.2 trillion, growing 1.5% year-on-year (YoY). Meanwhile, Telkom’s EBITDA was recorded at Rp18.0 trillion with an EBITDA margin of 48.3%. Telkom also recorded a net profit of Rp4.3 trillion with a net profit margin reaching 11.7% in the first quarter of 2026. Additionally, normalised net profit stood at Rp5.1 trillion with a normalised net profit margin of 13.8%. The contraction in net profit was primarily influenced by the continued impact of accelerated depreciation and business normalisation processes during the transformation phase. This performance was achieved amidst various challenges faced by Telkom, including increasingly fierce competition in internet services, AI disruption, and financial statement restatements. CNBC Indonesia will ask Dian directly about restructuring plans and subsidiary IPOs, Telkom’s investment plans, and the dividends investors can look forward to.
