Live broadcast on New Year's Eve

JAKARTA (JP): The privately-owned RCTI television station and
the Taman Impian Jaya Ancol (TIJA) dreamland plan to broadcast a
series of entertainment events live from the dreamland site in
Ancol, North Jakarta, on New Year's Eve.

The program, to be broadcast from 11:30 p.m. on Dec. 31 to 3
a.m. on Jan. 1, will include the traditional story of Rama and
Shinta.

An agreement worth Rp 900 million (US$411,900) was signed
Wednesday by Alex Kumara from RCTI and HM Sapardjo from TIJA.

The funds will be used to finance the program, including the
procurement of all equipment and other facilities. (bsr)
