Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Chief of Staff to the President, Listyo Sigit Prabowo, is prepared to continue his duties at the Presidential Staff Office (KSP) to ensure the success of President Prabowo Subianto’s priority programmes.

“Moreover, we know that the problems that always exist and disrupt the President’s programmes can be resolved by us,” said Sigit during a handover ceremony at the KSP Building, Jakarta, on Monday.

These programmes include those outlined in the ‘Astacita’ vision and its derivatives, specifically the 17 priority programmes of President Prabowo, which span several sectors including food security, energy, and the improvement of human resource quality.

He expressed his appreciation for the work previously carried out by Dudung Abdurachman, who now serves as the Coordinating Minister for Political and Security Affairs (Menko Polkam).

He also called upon the KSP staff to work together in executing tasks that support various government programmes.

On the same occasion, Dudung emphasised the role of the KSP in coordinating with ministries, agencies, and regional governments regarding various issues within the government’s priority programmes.

“We can monitor, check, and ensure that these programmes run smoothly. Because there are certainly many bottlenecks, obstructions, and hurdles that have remained unresolved until now,” said Dudung.

He cited examples of conducting coordination and field inspections regarding the development of three national strategic oil and gas projects in several regions.

Additionally, Dudung has previously coordinated efforts to ensure the availability of coal used by steam power plants (PLTU) to prevent blackouts across Java.

Concluding his remarks, Dudung expressed his gratitude for the established cooperation and requested support and prayers for his new responsibilities within the Coordinating Ministry for Political and Security Affairs.
