President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, inaugurated General Listyo Sigit Prabowo as the Head of the Presidential Staff Office (KSP), replacing Dudung Abdurachman, at the Merdeka Palace on Thursday (1/10/2026). The appointment of Listyo Sigit follows the transition of Police Commissioner General Suyudi Ario Seto into the role of National Police Chief.

Listyo’s appointment as KSP is based on the Decree of the President of the Republic of $Indonesia (Keppres RI) Number 105/P of 2026 regarding the Dismissal and Appointment of the Head of the Presidential Staff Office (KSP) and the Head of the National Agrarian Reform Agency.

“That I shall be loyal to the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia and shall implement all laws and regulations with the utmost integrity for my service to the nation and state. That in performing my official duties, I shall uphold official ethics and work to the best of my ability with full responsibility,” stated Prabowo.

Following the swearing-in ceremony, Listyo, newly appointed as KSP, signed the minutes of the oath-taking. The ceremony concluded with congratulations from Prabowo, Vice President Gibran Rakabuming, and the invited guests.

Previously, Retired General Dudung Abdurachman has been entrusted with a new role within the government. After serving as the Head of the Presidential Staff, Dudung has now been inaugurated by President Prabowo Subianto as the Coordinating Minister for Political and Security Affairs (Menko Polkam).

Dudung was inaugurated at the Palace in Jakarta on Thursday (1/10/2026), replacing Djamari Chaniago, who previously held the position.

The role of Coordinating Minister for Political and Security Affairs marks a new chapter for Dudung after decades of service within the Indonesian Army. His career has spanned numerous strategic positions, ranging from field commander to the Chief of Staff of the Army (KSAD).
