Jakarta – A number of toll road segments across Java will offer discounted tariffs during the Eid 2026 homecoming period. The 30 per cent discount applies for four days, covering both the outbound exodus and return traffic periods.

Public Works Minister Dody Hanggodo stated that the policy is expected to help the public reduce travel expenses whilst maintaining smooth traffic flow on major homecoming routes.

“Alhamdulillah all direct toll operating units (BUJT) agreed to offer discounts. The segments and timing have been agreed upon. God willing, we will implement the 30 per cent discount,” Dody said in an official statement on Sunday (8 March 2026).

Based on information from the Public Works Ministry and the Toll Road Regulatory Agency (BPJT), a total of 29 toll road segments across Indonesia will implement discounted tariffs during the Eid 2026 period.

These segments are spread across various main corridors, ranging from the Trans-Java Toll, toll roads in the Jabodetabek region, non-Trans-Java tolls, to the Trans-Sumatra Toll.

Specifically on the island of Java, there are 18 toll segments that will offer reduced tariffs for road users.

In general, the Eid 2026 toll discount will be applied for four days: two days during the outbound exodus period and two days during the return traffic period.

For the outbound exodus, the reduced tariff applies on 15–16 March 2026. Meanwhile, during the return period, discounts are implemented on 26–27 March 2026.

With the discount applied during the homecoming period, the total travel cost from Jakarta to Semarang, which was previously approximately Rp 473,500, will drop to approximately Rp 327,250.
