List of Narcotics Evidence Found in Suitcase of Former Bima Police Chief AKBP Didik
The National Police’s Professional and Security Division (Propam) has convened an ethics tribunal against former Bima City Police Chief in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), AKBP Didik Putra Kuncoro, in connection with alleged narcotics abuse.
The ethics violation hearing was scheduled to take place at the TNCC Building, National Police Headquarters, on Thursday (19 February). The Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim) had previously disclosed that Didik was apprehended in possession of a white suitcase containing narcotics.
The contents of the suitcase presented as evidence included 16.3 grammes of methamphetamine, 49 ecstasy tablets and 2 partially consumed tablets (23.5 grammes), 19 alprazolam tablets, 2 Happy Five tablets, and 5 grammes of ketamine.
Didik has been designated a suspect by Bareskrim in connection with the case.
Director of Narcotics Crime at Bareskrim, Brigadier General Eko Hadi Santoso, stated in a written release last Friday that during a case review, Didik was found culpable for possession of the white suitcase containing narcotics at the residence of Aipda Dianita in Tangerang, Banten.
In this case, Didik has been charged under Article 609 paragraph (2) letter (a) of Law No. 1 of 2023 concerning the Criminal Code in conjunction with Law No. 1 of 2026 on criminal adjustments, and Article 62 of Law No. 5 of 1997 concerning Psychotropic Substances in conjunction with Appendix 1 item number 9 of Law No. 1 of 2026.
Meanwhile, Head of Sub-Directorate 3 of the Narcotics Crime Directorate at Bareskrim, Commissioner Zulkarnain Harahap, stated that Didik also tested positive for narcotics based on hair follicle drug test results conducted in a laboratory.
“When we first examined him, he tested negative. Both he and his wife, the policewoman, were negative. However, Propam subsequently conducted hair testing, which came back positive,” he said.
Additionally, police have confirmed they have identified the dealer in the alleged narcotics distribution case implicating Bima City Police Chief AKBP Didik Putra Kuncoro. National Police Spokesman Inspector General Johnny Eddizon Isir stated that the dealer in the case has the initials “E” and that the individual is currently being sought.
“The dealer’s identity, with the initials E, has been fully profiled. A pursuit and arrest operation is currently underway,” Johnny said during a press conference at his office in Jakarta on Sunday evening (15 February).
He explained that the dealer in the syndicate had been supplying narcotics to AKP Malaungi, the Head of the Narcotics Unit at Bima City Police, who has also been designated a suspect.
According to Johnny, investigators are continuing to examine the involvement and roles of both AKBP Didik and AKP Malaungi in the case.
Regarding the ethics hearing for Didik, Head of Public Relations Bureau at the National Police’s Communications Division, Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko, confirmed in a written statement that the hearing would be held today at “the TNCC Building at 09:00 Western Indonesian Time.”
However, he did not provide further details regarding the composition of the Police Code of Ethics Commission panel that would preside over the hearing.
