List of Malls in Jakarta Offering Eid Discounts for 2026, Up to 80 Percent Off

JAKARTA - The Eid discount programme in Jakarta malls has begun alongside the Jakarta Festive Wonder event running from Ramadan through to Eid al-Fitr. A total of 101 shopping centres in Jakarta are participating in this programme, offering substantial price reductions to stimulate public purchasing power. DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung stated that the programme forms part of the local government’s efforts to provide economic incentives while encouraging people to celebrate Eid in Jakarta. “First, 101 shopping centres will participate in Jakarta Festive Wonder with shopping discounts,” said Pramono during the opening of the Jakarta Ramadan Festival at Bundaran HI, Central Jakarta, on Friday (27/2/2026). The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government is also preparing tax incentives for businesses to enable significant discounts for the public. Additionally, Senayan Park is enlivening Ramadan with the “Ramadan di Rantau” programme, featuring a bazaar and thematic activities for visitors. Besides shopping centres, the government and businesses are offering discounts in the hospitality sector as well as at tourist destinations such as Ancol, Taman Mini Indonesia Indah, and Ragunan Zoo. This series of programmes will run throughout March 2026 at various strategic locations in Jakarta. The government targets a minimum 20 percent increase in retail transactions during the Ramadan period. Furthermore, the DKI Provincial Government is preparing several supporting policies, including plans for free public transportation during Eid to enhance public mobility. The government hopes these various incentives will bolster economic activity while attracting people to enjoy the Eid holiday in Jakarta.
