JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) has not yet fully resumed long-distance train services. These cancellations are being implemented as part of the adjustment to normalise train operations following previous disruptions. “Until Wednesday, 29 April 2026, several train journeys from the Daop 1 Jakarta region remain cancelled as part of the adjustment to normalise operations after previous disruptions,” stated Franoto Wibowo, Manager of Public Relations for KAI Daop 1 Jakarta, in an official statement on Wednesday (29/4/2024). “KAI Daop 1 Jakarta apologises for the continued cancellation of several train services today,” he added. As a form of responsibility to customers, KAI is providing a 100 percent ticket refund for all affected passengers up to seven days from the scheduled departure date indicated on their tickets. Additionally, customers are given the option to reschedule or switch to other available train services. “We assure that all affected customers will receive a full refund or be facilitated to use other train services according to availability,” Franoto added. He confirmed that KAI Daop 1 Jakarta is continuously working to normalise train operations gradually, prioritising safety and customer service aspects. “We express our thanks for the understanding and trust of customers and hope that operational conditions can return to normal soon,” he emphasised.
