List of Late May 2026 Long Weekends Including Eid al-Adha

Indonesia’s 2026 late May public holidays include Eid al-Adha, extending to a six-day long weekend comprising public holidays, shared leave, weekends, and recommended leave. The holiday period is further extended into early June with Pancasila Day.

Travellers are advised to book transport and accommodation promptly, as prices typically rise during long weekends.

According to the Joint Ministerial Decree (SKB) signed by the Ministers of Religious Affairs, Manpower, and Public Administration and Bureaucratic Reform, the late May 2026 long weekend begins on Wednesday, 27 May. The dates are as follows:

• Wednesday, 27 May: Eid al-Adha public holiday

• Thursday, 28 May: Eid al-Adha shared leave

• Friday, 29 May: Recommended leave

• Saturday, 30 May: Weekend

• Sunday, 31 May: Waisak Day public holiday (also weekend)

• Monday, 1 June: Pancasila Day public holiday
