Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa has officially issued a new regulation on service tariffs at RSPAD Gatot Subroto. One of the latest provisions established is the expansion of the list of societal groups that can receive free services when seeking treatment at RSPAD Gatot Subroto.

This latest provision is contained in Ministry of Finance Regulation (PMK) Number 20 of 2026. The regulation was issued to replace the previous one, namely PMK Number 133 of 2019.

This policy takes effect 15 days after its official promulgation on 22 April 2026. With this regulation, all service tariffs at RSPAD Gatot Subroto will adjust to the new provisions.

“In order to improve the quality of services to the public and provide flexibility in financial management based on principles of economy and productivity, as well as the implementation of sound business practices, it is necessary to regulate service tariffs for goods or services provided by the Public Service Agency of the Army Central Hospital Gatot Soebroto under the Ministry of Defence,” quoted from the considering section of PMK 20/2026, cited Saturday (24/4/2026).

In Article 24 of the latest PMK, the list of societies that can be charged service tariffs up to Rp0.00 (zero rupiah) includes the general public from poor families who are not patients of guarantor parties.

Then, victims affected by force majeure; victims of criminal acts and/or accidents without identity; implementation of government assignments for strategic activities; and activities for public and social interests.

In the previous regulation, namely PMK 133/2019, the groups eligible for free costs consisted only of unidentified accident victims; victims affected by force majeure conditions; general public patients from poor families who are not patients of guarantor parties, and patients from the TNI extended family.

“The provision of service tariffs up to Rp0.00 (zero rupiah) as referred to in paragraph (1) shall be carried out by considering the financial condition of the Public Service Agency of the Army Central Hospital Gatot Soebroto under the Ministry of Defence,” as stated in PMK 20/2026.

Meanwhile, other tariffs that have changed from the previous provisions include the cost of class II medical accommodation at Rp825,000, previously Rp350,000-450,000 with more specific nomenclature, namely Class II Room.

Another example is the cost of specialist doctor visits and examinations at Rp350,000 per visit, whereas previously the costs were calculated separately, such as visit fees of Rp150,000-250,000 per day and consultations of Rp150,000-250,000 per visit.
