List of Identities of TNI Soldiers Killed and Injured in Israeli Attack

Israeli military forces bombarded the Adchit Al Qusayr area in Lebanon, the location of a United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) guard post, over the weekend. UNIFIL reported that one soldier died from a projectile explosion at their post, with several personnel injured in the attack. The fatality turned out to be a TNI soldier, and other TNI members in UNIFIL were among the wounded. TNI Headquarters, through a statement from TNI Chief of Information Major General Aulia Dwi Nasrullah, said the incident affected TNI soldiers in Company C, UNP 7-1, Task Force Yonmek XXIII-S/UNIFIL. The killed soldier was Private First Class Farizal Rhomadhon, whose body is being prepared for repatriation to Indonesia. His family stated that the late soldier will be buried in his hometown of Kulon Progo, DI Yogyakarta. Aulia said that Private First Class Farizal Rhomadhon, who fell in the line of duty, is currently laid to rest at the East Sector Headquarters (HQ), with administrative repatriation to Indonesia being handled with assistance from the Indonesian Embassy in Beirut. Meanwhile, the injured Indonesian soldiers, Aulia said, received medical treatment at the site. Aulia noted that Private First Class Rico Pramudia suffered severe injuries, while Private First Class Bayu Prakoso and Private First Class Arif Kurniawan sustained minor injuries. “In handling the situation, the two soldiers with minor injuries have received treatment at UNIFIL’s Level I Hospital. Meanwhile, the one soldier with severe injuries was evacuated by helicopter to St. George Hospital in Beirut for further medical treatment,” Aulia stated on Monday (30/3). The news of the TNI member’s death was previously confirmed by UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres. The attack by Israeli forces occurred near Adchit Al Qusayr. Through his official X social media account, Guterres issued a strong condemnation of the attack that killed one TNI personnel in UNIFIL. “I strongly condemn the Sunday incident that killed an Indonesian peacekeeper from @UNIFIL_ amid the hostilities between Israel and Hezbollah. Another Indonesian peacekeeper was seriously injured in the same incident,” Guterres wrote. “I extend my deepest condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of the deceased peacekeeper, and to Indonesia. I wish the injured peacekeeper a full recovery. This is just one of several recent incidents that have endangered the safety and security of peacekeepers,” his statement continued.
