List of Fuel Prices at All Indonesian Petrol Stations as of 1 April, Any Changes?
The government has decided not to raise the prices of Petroleum Fuels (BBM), both subsidised and non-subsidised, on 1 April 2026, despite the surge in global oil prices since the Israel-United States and Iran war broke out on 28 February 2026.
Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Bahlil Lahadalia stated that his office, along with PT Pertamina (Persero) and private petrol stations, will further discuss fuel prices.
“We convey regarding price adjustments. We convey the President’s orders and the meeting results: there is no adjustment up or down for subsidised BBM prices, flat at the current prices,” he said during a press conference on Tuesday (31/3/2026).
“For non-subsidised BBM, we are discussing with the Pertamina team and other private petrol stations until the time is up, when is that? Wait, meaning there is no price adjustment yet, it remains the same,” he emphasised.
“I ask the public to get information from the government, besides that, I ask us to manage information more intelligently. The aim is to keep it stable,” he urged.
“As a former angkot driver, I invite the public: in this situation, the government cannot work alone, it needs public cooperation, with reasonable and wise BBM purchases in our view as angkot drivers. A car uses 50 litres a day, the tank is full, we push it there, for things that are not too important, please do it wisely,” he said.
“Regarding Pertadex or high-quality Solar BBM, there is no price adjustment yet, and what the Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs said is the same, not less and not more. Of course, with global price fluctuations, we will also review according to world developments,” he explained.
So, what about the facts on the ground? Are non-subsidised BBM prices at private petrol stations also not rising as at Pertamina stations on 1 April 2026?
As of Wednesday, 1 April 2026, fuel prices at all domestic petrol stations are still monitored to be the same as those in effect since the March 2026 period. Usually, changes in non-subsidised BBM prices occur on the 1st of each month.
Based on CNBC Indonesia’s monitoring, at Pertamina stations, for the Jakarta and surrounding areas, for example, the price of RON 92 or Pertamax fuel is still priced at Rp 12,300 per litre on 1 April 2026, the same as the March price.
Then, Pertamax Green or RON 95 on 1 April 2026 is priced at Rp 12,900 per litre. Pertamax Turbo at Rp 13,100 per litre. Then Dexlite at Rp 14,200 per litre. And Pertamina Dex at Rp 14,500 per litre.
As for subsidised BBM prices, Pertalite and subsidised Solar remain unchanged since 3 September 2022, namely Rp 10,000 and Rp 6,800 per litre respectively.
For private petrol stations, the monitored prices, both at BP-AKR and PT Vivo Energy Indonesia stations on 1 April 2026, are still the same as last month’s period. Meanwhile, Shell stations are monitored as empty, not selling BBM.
Unfortunately, at Vivo and BP-AKR stations in the Ciater area, only RON 92 petrol fuel type is sold. Both BP 92 and Revvo 92 prices are Rp 12,390 per litre, the same as the March 2026 period. Whereas Shell stations are not selling BBM or out of stock.
Similarly, in the Warung Buncit, Mampang, South Jakarta area, both Vivo and Shell stations are monitored as not selling BBM or out of stock. Meanwhile, BP stations are monitored as only selling BP 92 BBM at Rp 12,390 per litre.
