Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - Several fuel distribution companies at petrol stations across Indonesia have officially raised the prices of non-subsidised fuel during the May 2026 period.

PT Pertamina (Persero), for instance, officially adjusted the prices of its non-subsidised fuel products starting 4 May 2026. The price of Pertamax Turbo (RON 98) in Jakarta is now set at Rp 19,900 per litre, an increase from the previous Rp 19,400 per litre. Meanwhile, Dexlite has also seen a price hike to Rp 26,000 per litre from Rp 23,600 per litre, and Pertamina Dex has risen to Rp 27,900 per litre from Rp 23,900 per litre.

However, prices for RON 92 fuel, known as Pertamax, remain unchanged at Rp 12,300 per litre. Similarly, Pertamax Green 95 remains priced at Rp 12,900 per litre. Prices for subsidised fuels, such as RON 90 (Pertalite) and subsidised Diesel, also remain stable at Rp 10,000 and Rp 6,800 per litre, respectively.

In addition to Pertamina, private fuel retailers such as Shell, BP, and Vivo have also raised their selling prices, particularly for diesel varieties. At Vivo stations, Diesel Primus has increased to Rp 30,890 per litre, while Revvo 92 remains at Rp 12,390 per litre as of 1 May 2026.

Shell Indonesia has also reintroduced its diesel products. As of Monday, 11 May 2026, Shell V-Power Diesel is available again at a price of Rp 30,890 per litre. Shell announced via its official Instagram account: “Thank you for waiting. Shell V-Power Diesel is becoming available again in stages at Shell stations.”

Conversely, BP-AKR has lowered the price of BP Ultimate Diesel to Rp 29,890 per litre as of 11 May 2026, following a brief period where it sat at Rp 30,890 per litre.
