List of Ad Hoc Judges Set to Receive Monthly Allowance of Rp 105.2 Million
President Prabowo Subianto signed Presidential Regulation No. 5 of 2026 on Financial Rights and Facilities for Ad Hoc Judges on 4 February 2026. Ad hoc judges will receive a monthly allowance as stipulated in Article 3 paragraph (1) of the regulation. Under Perpres 5/2026, the amount of the allowance for ad hoc judges is set out in the regulation’s attachment. According to the attachment to Perpres 5/2026, ad hoc judges at first-instance courts for corruption offences, industrial relations, fisheries, human rights (HAM), and commerce receive an allowance of Rp 49,300,000. Meanwhile, ad hoc judges at the four appellate-level courts will receive an allowance of Rp 105,270,000. In addition to the allowance, ad hoc judges will receive six other rights and facilities, such as housing, transportation, and health insurance. “Ad hoc judges will be granted financial rights and facilities consisting of: a. allowance; b. state housing; c. transportation facilities; d. health insurance; e. security insurance and in carrying out their duties; f. official travel expenses; and g. appreciation payment,” states Article 2 of Perpres 5/2026.
