List of 103 Free Private Schools in Jakarta for 2026, from Primary to Special Needs Schools

The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has officially announced the list of 103 private schools offering free education for the year 2026. This programme allows students to attend school without fees, from primary school level to special needs schools (SLB). The policy is enshrined in the DKI Jakarta Provincial Regulation Number 34 of 2025 on educational cost assistance for private educational units. The DKI Jakarta Education Office stated that the total of 103 schools are spread across five administrative city areas. This programme is one of the government’s efforts to expand access to education, particularly in the face of limited capacity in public schools.
