List of 10 Vehicles Involved in a Chain Collision at KM 93 Cipularang Toll Road: Tronton–Hiace

Ten vehicles were involved in a chain collision at KM 93 of the Cipularang Toll Road towards Jakarta. The vehicles involved sustained severe damage, including a container truck, a pickup, trucks, Toyota Rush, Daihatsu Sigra, a tronton bok, Hiace, Toyota Raize, Mazda Biante and Toyota Agya. “The number of casualties is two dead — the driver and the pickup’s crew member — with four others sustaining serious injuries; the remainder have minor injuries and are receiving treatment,” said Head of Cipularang PJR, Kompol Joko Prihantono, in a statement on Thursday (5/3/2026). Earlier, the accident occurred at 20:18 WIB. All lanes were temporarily closed at the time of the incident. “The accident involved 10 vehicles and caused all lanes to be impassable. It is still being handled by on-site officers,” Panji Satriya, Head of Marketing and Communication Department for Jasamarga Metropolitan Tollroad Regional Division, said in a statement. Based on the provisional field report, two people died and four sustained serious injuries. All victims have been evacuated to Radjak Purwakarta Hospital for further treatment. “Jasa Marga apologises for the inconvenience experienced during the evacuation process,” he said.
