Since university, Lisa Ariska has been making graduation bouquets. Her variations include flowers, cash, and snacks. Turning this hobby into a business transformed her life.

To detikcom, Lisa explained her business, Lingkarjariku, located on Jl Mangga, Batu Ampar, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta. She specialises in wedding and engagement decoration services.

“I’ve been selling since university. The current Lingkarjariku business started in 2019,” Lisa said during an interview on Wednesday, 27 May 2026.

Renal, Lisa’s husband, recognised the potential in her business. They agreed to expand into engagement and wedding decorations, as well as bridal gown rentals.

To grow her business, Lisa took out a BRI KUR loan in 2022. Her enterprise has continued to expand year on year.

“In 2020, we started offering decorations. In 2019, we handled mahar and seserahan (traditional engagement gifts). Our bridal gown gallery opened in 2022, and we secured a four-year BRI KUR loan which has since been repaid. Now, thank God, it’s growing,” Lisa said.

Lisa noted that similar businesses are proliferating across the capital. Most offer low prices, but she is grateful that Lingkarjariku continues to serve clients hosting weddings and engagements.

With intense competition, Lisa aims to keep expanding her business to stay ahead of competitors. She plans to open a larger gallery to broaden her service scope.

“I do plan to apply for another KUR loan, given the low interest rates and manageable repayments over a short term—just three or four years,” she added.

Revenue Reaches Millions

Lingkarjariku charges under Rp2 million for engagement events. If the event is in the Condet area, Lisa does not charge transportation fees.

“We hope to improve further as there are many cheap decorations now. Even though ours are affordable, engagement events are under Rp2 million, with a maximum of Rp2.5 million excluding transport. If it’s near Condet, we offer free transport.”

As the owner, Lisa hopes Lingkarjariku will grow larger and remain competitive. Currently, she earns up to Rp20 million monthly.

“Monthly revenue from engagement events is around Rp12 million. Total monthly turnover can reach Rp20 million,” she said.

This former sales promotion girl (SPG) now owns a home and employs staff thanks to her business, supported by BRI’s KUR.

“Thanks to BRI KUR, we’ve been able to build and buy a house. Now, thank God, we have five employees,” she said.

Accessible Financing

BRI, through KUR, aims to provide accessible, targeted, and sustainable financing. The bank continues to strengthen collaborations with stakeholders, including local governments, farmer groups, and agricultural extension officers, to ensure KUR disbursement delivers tangible economic impact.

Between January and March 2026, BRI disbursed Rp47.09 trillion in KUR loans to 947,000 borrowers. The agriculture sector was the largest contributor, receiving Rp19.86 trillion—42.16% of total KUR disbursements.

BRI emphasised that KUR disbursement is conducted prudently, transparently, and accountably. Through these measures, the bank is confident in continuing to contribute to food security, farmer welfare, and inclusive, sustainable grassroots economic growth.

“Small and medium enterprises (UMKM) remain the cornerstone of BRI’s financing portfolio, with total disbursements reaching Rp1.211 trillion,” said BRI President Director Hery Gunardi.

“This disbursement not only reflects BRI’s extensive reach but also acts as a catalyst for productive business growth, UMKM capacity building, and job creation across regions,” he added.
