Lippo Life revenue up

JAKARTA (JP): Lippo Life booked a 37 percent increase in its
total revenue to Rp 478.4 billion (US$202.7 million) for the
first nine months of this year from Rp 349.9 billion for the same
period last year.

The publicly-listed life insurance company said early this
week that its net revenue for the year was expected to reach Rp
48.8 billion.

Its earnings per share were expected to increase to Rp 127 in
1996 from Rp 104 in 1995, and were projected to increase to Rp
260 for 1997.

Lippo Life has 131 sales offices, including 100 life agencies
inside Lippo Bank branches, four financial centers and five
corporate centers. The company employs 5,200 staff in 36
