Lippo Life gets award
JAKARTA (JP): Lippo Life, an insurance arm of the Lippo Group, has won an award for its outstanding life insurance product Arisan Lippo from Markplus Indonesia, a local marketing consultant.
The insurance company said yesterday that the appreciation was based on a marketing study jointly carried out by Markplus and SWA monthly magazine.
Markplus service officer Hermawan Kertajaya said the award was given for the product's innovative and creative marketing strategy.
He said the Arisan product's marketing strategy, which involves all the policyholders as the sales agents, was considered the best strategy during a recession era.
Arisan Lippo, with an annual premium of Rp 100,000, offers a life protection worth Rp 50 million to its holders. (aly)
