Lippo Donates Meikarta Land to State, Extent Revealed
Lippo Group is donating land in the Meikarta area to the State. The grant process will be carried out through the Ministry of Finance, specifically the Directorate General of State Assets (DJKN). The asset will then be transferred to Danantara and subsequently to the state-owned enterprise assigned to build and manage subsidised apartments.
Citing a disclosure by PT Lippo Cikarang Tbk (LPCK) dated 31 May 2026, the Low-Income Housing (Rusun MBR) project is a government/Danantara programme. In this project, the company is only participating through the grant of approximately 31 hectares of land.
βThe land will be used for the construction of the said project. All planning, development, construction, implementation, funding, and supervision activities of the project are carried out by the Government/Danantara or appointed agencies,β LPCK wrote.
The company also reiterated that the Rusun MBR Project is a separate project and has no connection to the Meikarta Apartment project. The Rusun MBR Project is developed, built, and financed by the Government/Danantara through authorised agencies, whereas the Meikarta Apartment project is a different project and is not part of the said Rusun MBR development programme. The company once again stressed that it is only providing the land grant for the construction of the Rusun MBR Project.
