Lippo Cikarang holds swimming competition

BEKASI: Management of the Lippo Cikarang housing and business district in Bekasi will hold an interclub swimming competition on Sunday.

The event will be conducted at the complex' Olympic Sports Club, committee member Suyanto Alimprabowo was quoted as saying by Tempointeraktif.com on Wednesday.

Suyanto said participants could take part in a total of 50 events.

At least eight clubs have registered for the competition, he added.

"Our concern is to develop national sports, especially swimming."

Interested clubs can register their participation at the committee's office on Jl. Senayan No. 2, Simpruk Lippo Cikarang. -- JP
