Lion Group Increases Umrah Flights to Nine Times Per Week
Lion Group is preparing to increase its Umrah flight services to nine times per week, following high public demand for pilgrimage travel after this year’s Hajj season. “We are optimistic that the demand for Umrah travel will continue to rise. Previously, the frequency was six times a week, but we are now preparing for nine times a week,” said Danang Mandala Prihantoro, Corporate Communications Strategic of Lion Group, during the BookCabin Travel Fair press conference on Tuesday (2/6/2026).
This policy was announced in conjunction with the BookCabin Travel Fair, which serves as a platform for the company to offer easier travel options to the public through an expanding flight network. He noted that general air travel demand continues to show a positive trend, even as the industry enters a low season period. According to him, travel needs for tourism, school holidays, business interests, and religious pilgrimages remain the primary factors driving the use of air transport. Consequently, Lion Group, through BookCabin, is presenting various travel solutions to ensure the public can travel in accordance with their specific needs and budgets.
