Lion Air lucky draw lamentation

Recently I had a very upsetting experience in dealing with the Lion Air marketing system. It is the second time I tried to enter my parents into a lucky draw contest, which Lion claims they are doing every week and once a month.

In the instructions, it says that I have to send an SMS to 3477 and they will send me a reply, in which will contain a PIN number and a thank-you note. I followed exactly what the instructions said, but did not get any reply from them.

Out of curiosity, I decided to go their website to send a complaint/question regarding this issue. As one would expect, the "contact us" site is not working properly. The page merely refreshed when I clicked the submit button. I clicked once again and it showed an error message. Thus, I decided to call them directly.

I called and asked them why I was unable to obtain any reply from Lion Air. The representative said that the system was down, which was the main cause for not being able to obtain any replies. I wonder if there really is something wrong with the system or something wrong with the "System?" I asked her whether the system was down a month ago for a short duration or had it been down the whole month, from the first time I sent the SMS to enter the lucky draw.

She answered by telling me that there was another person, who had experienced the same problem before, sent it again, and got an SMS reply. I am more than convinced that it was just a made-up story because it has happened to me twice.

As she claimed that the system was down, I asked her to let me know, when I should send the SMS again because sending the SMS is not free like it is in the United States? It is not a matter of being cheap, but it is a matter of unreliability and being deceived. Since she could not give meaningful answers to my question; instead, she asked me for the names that I had sent in for the lucky draw and claimed that she would give me a call. I asked her when I should expect the call, and she changed the topic, again.

On Tuesday, July 19, I again sent another SMS and still got no reply. I wonder if they are that dreadful in fixing the system or they are just big fat liars.
