Lintasarta reaffirms commitment to AI development in Indonesia
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Lintasarta has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the development and adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) in Indonesia through its transformation into a Beyond AI Factory under the Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (IOH) Group, as part of the company’s 38th anniversary celebrations.
“Lintasarta is not only adapting to change but continuously transforming itself to remain relevant and impactful. Amid the acceleration of AI and the complexity of the digital landscape, we are stepping beyond the concept of an AI Factory, delivering AI as an integrated, scalable, secure solution that provides real value to industries and Indonesia,” said President Director & CEO of Lintasarta, Armand Hermawan, in a press release on Thursday.
In marking its 38th anniversary under the theme “Empowering Beyond: Breaking Boundaries, Creating Impact for Indonesia”, Lintasarta stated that the transformation into a Beyond AI Factory is aimed at ensuring AI can be implemented safely, measurably, and with impact for industries and the national ecosystem.
The company noted that this strategy is strengthened through the 4C foundation, encompassing connectivity, cloud, cybersecurity, and collaboration. According to the company, connectivity plays a role in maintaining the reliability of the national digital system, cloud supports the development of corporate infrastructure, cybersecurity ensures data security and compliance, while collaboration is intended to accelerate national AI readiness and innovation through cross-industry partnerships.
Lintasarta also stated that the implementation of this strategy is carried out through the company’s values summarised in I CARE, namely innovation, collaboration, agility, resilience, and ethics, as guidelines in facing work dynamics and serving customers.
On the occasion of its 38th anniversary, the company also introduced the Lintasarta Peduli Negeri social programme through empowerment activities in three orphanage foundations and eight social activities, including the Lintasarta Mengajar programme focused on digital literacy and introducing AI to the younger generation.
According to the company, direct employee involvement in volunteer programmes is part of efforts to build a generation ready to face the digital future through AI education, connectivity support, and health programmes.
“We want to ensure that every technology we present is not only relevant but able to create real impact, open new opportunities, and strengthen Indonesia’s readiness to face the digital future,” said Armand.
