During Ramadan 1447 H, Lintasarta, the AI Factory of Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (IOH) Group, has distributed various social programmes reaching over 1,500 beneficiaries across five cities: Jakarta, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, Makassar, and Aceh.

Director and Chief Financial Officer of Lintasarta, Hariyadi Ramelan, stated that the initiative themed “Learning to Care & Action to Share” encompasses support for places of worship, empowerment of local micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) through the Warung Berkah programme, environmental education for orphans, and appreciation for company staff known as Laskar, who continue to maintain company services during the Eid holiday period.

“This initiative forms part of Lintasarta’s commitment to building a national digital ecosystem that not only drives technological innovation but also brings tangible social impact to society,” said Hariyadi in a press statement on Tuesday (10/3/2026).

According to him, Ramadan represents an important opportunity to strengthen empathy values whilst affirming the company’s social role amidst rapid digital technology development. “As a driver of national digital transformation, we believe technological progress must go hand-in-hand with social responsibility,” he said.

Through this Ramadan programme, Lintasarta seeks to deliver direct benefits to communities, ranging from support for places of worship, local economic empowerment, environmental education, to assistance for Laskar staff maintaining reliable services.

One of the main programmes implemented is the revitalisation of prayer halls through the “Surau Kita Berdaya” initiative conducted jointly with Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (IOH). This programme focuses on improving community prayer facilities affected by disasters across various Indonesian regions. Lintasarta distributed religious equipment to communities at Musaa Al-Ikhsan in Aceh Tamiang Regency as part of efforts to assist the recovery of post-disaster social and religious activities.

Through this initiative, improvements were also made to several prayer halls in other areas serving as community activity centres, including Masjid Abu Bakar As-Sidiq in Maros, South Sulawesi, Musala Mansaul Ridho 2 in Tuban, East Java, and Musala Al Ikhlas in Purwodadi, Central Java. “This revitalisation is expected to restore the function of prayer halls as centres of social and religious life for surrounding communities,” Hariyadi explained.

In the field of economic empowerment, Lintasarta introduced the “Warung Berkah Ramadan” programme involving micro-entrepreneurs and local food stalls in providing free nutritious meals to the poor and orphans. This programme reaches 350 beneficiaries in Surabaya, 300 in Makassar, and 250 in Yogyakarta, whilst simultaneously helping to stimulate economic activity among micro-entrepreneurs in these cities.

Lintasarta also conducted the “Recycle & Reuse” environmental education programme. In this initiative, orphaned children learned to process waste and create items from used materials. The activity, participated in by 45 orphans in Jakarta, aims to foster environmental awareness from an early age and instil ecological thinking habits in the younger generation.

Hariyadi emphasised that all these activities form part of Lintasarta’s Ramadan Safari under the theme “Learning to Care & Action to Share” which was launched in hybrid format in Jakarta, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, and Makassar at the beginning of Ramadan 1447 H. The event involved hundreds of employees and was attended by Lintasarta’s Board of Commissioners and Management. On the same occasion, Lintasarta also distributed assistance and religious equipment to 140 orphans in various cities as a manifestation of the company’s concern for surrounding communities.

Overall, Lintasarta’s Ramadan programme this year has delivered tangible impact through support to over 1,500 beneficiaries, assistance to 11 mosques and prayer halls, and empowerment of 4 local MSMEs across various regions.
