A persistent memory shortage combined with the rupiah’s weakening exchange rate against the dollar has caused component prices such as RAM and GPU to surge. However, Lintasarta is undeterred in pursuing investment in AI. Armand Hermawan, President Director and CEO of Lintasarta, said the company has been investing in Nvidia GPU infrastructure since 2025. Going forward, Lintasarta will continue to invest based on user demand. ‘We will invest carefully, aligned with the needs of our customers, industry, and regulatory requirements,’ Armand said during a media gathering in Jakarta on Tuesday (9/6/2026). Armand added that Lintasarta’s current task is to devise solutions utilising existing infrastructure, whether in the form of GPU-as-a-service or infrastructure sharing. To meet current customer needs in Indonesia, Lintasarta is offering a new service dubbed Intelligent Core. This service relies on the ‘4C’ pillars comprising Connectivity, Cloud, Cybersecurity, and Collaboration-AI, combined into a single end-to-end digital solution. This foundation is built on three main principles: sovereign AI infrastructure, integrated end-to-end solutions, and an integrated, reliable, and efficient customer experience. Lintasarta is tailoring its Intelligent Core services to the needs of five key industries: finance, government, manufacturing, healthcare, and retail. For instance, the financial sector benefits from a Secure Banking Stack that integrates infrastructure compliant with OJK regulations and fraud detection systems. ‘The technology required for banking and fintech is, among other things, first class. Their data centres must be AI ops-capable, their fraud detection systems must be robust, cybersecurity must be reliable, SLAs must be excellent—a complete all-in-one service. We can deliver all this with the 4C framework,’ concluded Armand.
