PT Link Net Tbk (LINK) is accelerating its business transformation with a focus on expanding its fibre optic network to strengthen the national digital infrastructure.

This step is supported by funding from international institutions such as the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and the Asian Development Bank (ADB).

Link Net’s President Director and Chief Executive Officer, Kaniska Gayatri Wikrama, stated that the expansion is aimed at broadening digital connectivity.

“We are committed to actively contributing to supporting the national digital transformation,” she said in an official statement on Wednesday, 25 March 2026.

She added that the company’s main focus is to ensure that investments made have an impact on strengthening technology infrastructure.

“Our focus is to ensure that every investment and strategic step can provide real impact for the development of Indonesia’s technology infrastructure,” said Kaniska.

The company targets a sustainable increase in the number of homepasses through the expansion of its fibre optic network. The addition of coverage is done gradually to extend internet services to more households.

In addition to expanding reach, the company is also improving service quality through strengthening network reliability. The developed infrastructure is intended to meet the digitalisation needs of various sectors, from households to corporate customers.

Support from IFC and ADB is part of the expansion financing strategy. The funding will be used to accelerate the construction of fibre optic networks in various operational areas in Indonesia.

The company stated that synergy with global partners is expected to increase network development efficiency and accelerate broadband service penetration.

Link Net also emphasised that strengthening digital infrastructure is part of the company’s contribution to the national digital economy ecosystem. This step aligns with the increasing need for high-speed connectivity in Indonesia.

In its operations, the company develops services through its main business lines: Linknet Fiber, Linknet Enterprise, and Linknet Media. These three lines support the provision of connectivity services for households and the business sector.

The company noted that its current network has reached millions of homes in more than 70 cities in Indonesia.
