LIMA Launches UNIFEST 2026, A New Stage for Student Creativity

JAKARTA — Liga Mahasiswa (LIMA) launched a new programme titled UNIFEST 2026, which is claimed to be the new face of campus festivals in Indonesia. The collaborative programme is designed to bring a fresher, more inclusive and festive atmosphere to the student environment.

UNIFEST 2026 will be held at Ubaya Sport Centre from 15 to 22 May 2026. Unlike campus competitions in general, the event combines sport, entertainment, collaboration and celebration in a single festival.

LIMA’s Chief Executive Junas Miradiarsyah said UNIFEST is a new step for LIMA to provide a more open space for all students. ‘We want to deliver something never before. Through Unifest 2026, we bring a newer spirit that is more inclusive. This is a celebration where every student can shine in their own way,’ Junas said in a press release.

Under the slogan #SemuaBisaMain, LIMA wants to erase conventional boundaries in campus activities. Not only students who excel in sport, students from various faculties are encouraged to participate and become part of the festival.

LIMA described UNIFEST 2026 as the first collaborative programme between them and several universities in Indonesia. The concept is made more modern and close to the character of the youth generation with a more dynamic and interactive atmosphere.

During the week of the festival, students will be invited to demonstrate creativity, teamwork, and campus identity in a range of activities packaged like a youth festival.

LIMA hopes UNIFEST can become a new standard in organising campus festivals in Indonesia as well as strengthen solidarity among students through a more inclusive and collaborative concept.
