Lift Facilities at Cikini Station Ease Access for People with Special Needs

The presence of these facilities represents an effort to enhance public transportation services. Staff assisted residents using the platform lift facility at Cikini Station, Jakarta, on Monday (30/3/2026). This facility is intended to improve accessibility for priority users, including the elderly, pregnant women, and people with disabilities. The introduction of these facilities forms part of initiatives to advance inclusive public transportation services for all users. The development of these access facilities is designed to simplify user mobility in the station area. The maximum carrying capacity of this facility reaches 250 kilograms, equivalent to two adults and one wheelchair.
