Libya International MHQ Champion, Private Nawawi Receives Extraordinary Promotion from TNI Commander
TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto bestowed an Extraordinary Rank Promotion (KPLB) upon Private Nawawi M.M. Latifullah, a TNI soldier who has brought honour to the nation on the international stage. Nawawi received the award after securing first place in the 30-juz Qur’an memorisation category at the Musabaqah Hifdzil Qur’an (MHQ) International in Misurata, Libya.
The awarding ceremony took place solemnly at the Gatot Soebroto Hall, TNI Headquarters, Cilangkap, East Jakarta, on Thursday (26/3/2026). This KPLB was given as the highest form of appreciation for the dedication and extraordinary achievements that surpass primary military duties.
“This achievement not only honours the TNI institution but also brings pride to the Indonesian nation on the international stage,” stated the official release from Penkodam IX/Udayana, quoted on Saturday (28/3/2026).
