Lianlian DigiTech Co., Ltd. (HKEX: 2598), a China-based, globally scaled provider of AI-powered digital payment services, has reported its interim performance for the six months ended 30 June 2026. Global Total Transaction Payment Volume (TPV) reached RMB249.9 billion, up 25.9% year-on-year. Revenue rose 11.9% to RMB875.6 million, while gross profit reached RMB454.4 million with a gross profit margin of 51.9%. The gross profit margin for the global payments business stood at 70.8%. Adjusted operating profit surged 147.3% to RMB156 million, excluding all non-operating items. The company’s global regulatory footprint expanded to 68 payment licences and qualifications, including a newly acquired MSB licence in Canada and a Category 3D payment licence in Dubai.

Zhang Zhengyu, Chairman and CEO of Lianlian DigiTech, said the company made solid progress across its three growth pillars in the first half of 2026. The ‘AI-Native + Globalization’ strategy accelerated product development and launches, including a number of AI products and significant breakthroughs in Agentic Payment. The company also continued to expand its ecosystem and strengthen its presence along the fintech and AI value chain.

CFO Wen Yingse noted that both revenue and gross profit increased by approximately 11.9% compared with the prior year. Adjusted operating profit more than doubled, while the combined expense ratio fell by 8.4 percentage points. Going forward, the company will focus on core business growth, expand the use of AI in operational activities, and carefully develop ecosystem partnerships.

In its global payments business, Lianlian accelerated the development of intelligent payment services by integrating AI into various operational processes. The company is also increasingly focused on serving corporate clients and expanding services for B2B trade and services. In its domestic payments business, Lianlian adjusted resource allocation by reducing focus on transaction categories with lower contributions. In its value-added services business, Lianlian expanded the use of payment features across various business needs, driving demand for services such as virtual bank cards and intelligent marketing.

During the period, Lianlian also began translating its ‘AI-Native + Globalization’ strategy into new products, including Agent Wallet, a solution designed as intelligent payment infrastructure to support the era of AI agents. The company’s enterprise AI agent platform further strengthened Lianlian’s intelligent service system. Looking ahead, Lianlian will continue to execute its ‘AI-Native + Globalization’ strategy, expand its global business reach, and support Chinese enterprises expanding globally.
