LIA English course clarifies
LIA English course clarifies
From Kompas
With reference to the article in Kompas (April 6) titled Uang kursus siswa LIA (The course fee of LIA students) we would like to clarify as follows.
The LIA foundation, an English course organizer, would like to wholeheartedly thank course students for their valuable input. The increase of course fees has also been a concern for the LIA foundation in its efforts to keep operational costs down as low as possible.
However, we admit that we have failed in this effort, mainly because certain conditions have not been met. However, the foundation is consistent in its social commitment and has never made profit its primary objective.
We also have to admit that renovation of some facilities and the completion of the fourth and fifth floors of our building in Pengadegan have caused some inconvenience to students, as well as employees. Some might have noticed that the air-conditioning system was not working well, despite the fact that we used our generator as an additional power source. During certain hours the elevator was used mainly for moving supplies.
We would like to apologize for any inconvenience caused.
