LG Sinar Mas Boosts Investment to Strengthen Digital Service Capabilities
LG Sinar Mas (LGSM) is continuing to strengthen its enterprise application capabilities and support companies in executing complex and strategic business transformation programmes. One of its key achievements is involvement in the next-generation data centre project, SMX01, which is designed to support AI needs and is located in Jakarta’s central business district.
Donghyup Han, CEO of LG Sinar Mas, revealed that the project completed its topping off phase in May 2026 and is targeted to enter the Ready for Service phase by the fourth quarter of 2026. “We will continue to invest in capability development and collaborate with partners to deliver transformation that provides measurable and sustainable impact for companies in Indonesia,” he stated on Friday, 17 July 2026.
SMX01 is designed to support enterprise, cloud, hyperscale, and AI-based workloads. The project demonstrates LGSM’s ability to integrate infrastructure, operational readiness, system integration, and technology services within a single ecosystem. The data centre is equipped with scalable capacity, low-latency connectivity, and global-standard infrastructure to support Indonesia’s digital economic growth.
Beyond digital infrastructure, LGSM supports corporate transformation through integrated capabilities that include application modernisation, cloud migration, data and AI, cyber security, managed operational services, and reliable IT infrastructure.
