Lexus and Several Other Cars Damaged in Medan Mansion Explosion
Several vehicles were damaged as a result of an explosion at a luxury home in the Grand Polonia area of Medan, North Sumatra. The cars sustained severe damage. Based on observations at the scene on Tuesday (21/7/2026), one of the most heavily damaged vehicles was a Lexus parked in front of the house where the explosion originated. The car was badly wrecked, with its windows and bodywork destroyed. A driver was trapped inside this vehicle after the blast. Additionally, on the terrace of house number 3B, the source of the explosion, at least three different black cars were parked. These vehicles were damaged after being struck by falling building materials and have not yet been evacuated. Two other damaged cars were also seen parked at two neighbouring houses directly opposite the source of the explosion. Preliminary data indicates that seven people were in the vicinity at the time of the blast. Of that total, four survived, identified as J (2), Hasan, a driver, and a courier.
