REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, PURBALINGGA – Utilising the KITE Exemption facility, PT Mahkota Triangjaya has recorded its maiden export of eyelash products to the Netherlands. This export serves as proof of the company’s success in enhancing production capacity while penetrating international markets.

In its inaugural shipment, PT Mahkota Triangjaya exported 168,234 pieces of eyelashes with a total value of Rp 1,314,734,922.77. The products are the result of skilled local labour, which also elevates the potential of Purbalingga Regency’s industry to the global stage.

This achievement is inseparable from the company’s long journey, having previously utilised the Import Duty Exemption Facility for Export-Oriented Small and Medium Industries (KITE IKM) since 2020.

With significant business growth, the company then “upgraded” by obtaining the KITE Exemption facility at the end of 2025.

The KITE Exemption facility provides ease in the form of exemption from import duties and taxes on raw materials used to produce export goods. With this support, the company can improve production efficiency and expand market reach.

Customs, through the Central Java and DI Yogyakarta Customs Regional Office, has played a role in assisting and facilitating the export process. This role is part of Customs’ function as a trade facilitator and industrial assistance in driving national industry growth.

Head of the Central Java and DI Yogyakarta Customs Regional Office, Agus Yulianto, appreciated PT Mahkota Triangjaya’s achievement, which is seen as an example for other business actors.

“We are committed to continuing to assist business actors so they can develop and create broader employment opportunities,” said Agus in a statement on Tuesday (7/4/2026).

In the future, it is hoped that this maiden export success can serve as a trigger for PT Mahkota Triangjaya to further expand international markets, while also driving regional economic growth through increased exports of flagship products.
