Lessors get new chief

JAKARTA (JP): Members of the Indonesian Leasing Association
have elected Albert Banunaek, of Ometraco Corporation, as the
organization's president for the 1995-97 term.

Albert, who replaces Mustafa I. Jatim, was elected during the
association's recent congress, which groups 103 multi-finance and
leasing companies in Indonesia.

The association members also elected Theresia Adiwijaya of
Bumiraya Multifinance as secretary general.

The association members control about 96 percent of the
domestic leasing market, about 76 percent of the factoring
portfolios and 62.2 percent of consumer financing. (hen)
