LEPAS brings electrification mobility experience of up to 1,300+ km to BCA Expo 2026
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Evolving public mobility trends are driving vehicles to function not only as means of transport but also as tools to support daily activities. Aspects of comfort, flexibility, technology, and design have become key considerations for consumers when choosing a vehicle. This forms part of the approach taken by LEPAS, a Premium Lifestyle Mobility Brand that integrates design, technology, and driving comfort into vehicle products tailored to user needs.
This approach will be demonstrated through the presence of the LEPAS E4 EV and LEPAS L8 PHEV at the BCA Expo 2026, held from 11-13 September 2026 at Hall 8-9, ICE BSD City. Both models offer different characters to meet electrified mobility needs: a pure electric vehicle via the E4 EV and plug-in hybrid technology via the L_8 PHEV.
LEPAS E4 EV Offers a Range of More Than 600 Kilometres
The LEPAS E4 EV is aimed at consumers requiring an electric vehicle with a long driving range. The model features a range of over 600 kilometres (km) based on the CLTC standard, supported by a 67 kWh battery capacity. Priced at Rp349 million OTR Jakarta, the E4 EV offers an alternative for consumers looking to transition to electric vehicles, including those who do not yet have home charging facilities. This range allows users greater flexibility in planning trips, both for daily commutes and intercity travel.
To support charging, the E4 EV is equipped with DC Fast Charging technology up to 1s 130 kW, allowing the battery to charge from 30 per cent to 80 per cent in approximately 20 minutes. In addition to electrification technology, the E4 EV is equipped with several comfort and safety features, including ventilated seats, 50W wireless charging, a PM0.3 air purification system, 18 ADAS features, six airbags, and a 540-degree camera. The model also features Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capability with up to 3.3 kW of power, allowing energy from the vehicle’s battery to support various activities outside the car.
LEPAS L8 PHEV Provides Mobility Flexibility
The LEPAS L8 PHEV utilises plug-in hybrid technology, providing the flexibility of electric vehicle usage for daily mobility as well as long-distance travel. The L8 PHEV can be used in EV mode with a range of over 100 kilometres, while the combination of electric power and an engine produces a combined range of over 1,300 kilometres.
The LEPAS L8 PHEV is offered at a price of Rp589 million OTR Jakarta and is equipped with several features to support user comfort, including massage seats, 256-colour ambient lighting, an Air Conditioning Fraguesance System, and a Sony 8-speaker audio system. In terms of safety and driving ease, the vehicle is equipped with 16 ADAS features, a 540-degree camera, Automatic Parking Assist (APA), and Remote Parking Assist (RPA). The L8 PHEV also features V2L capability with up to 6.6 kW of power for external energy needs.
“Every consumer has different mobility and lifestyle needs. Therefore, we do not view electrification as a one-size-fits-all choice. Through the E4 and L8, we want to provide options that allow consumers to find the mobility experience that best suits their daily lives,” said Temmy Wiradjaja, Vice Country Director of LEPAS Indonesia.
According to Temmy, the LEPAS E4 provides a full electric vehicle option with a long range, while the L8 offers flexibility through plug-in hybrid technology. Despite using different technologies, both models share the same approach in integrating design, technology, comfort, and user mobility needs.
LEX Platform Serves as the Foundation for Both Models
The differing characters of the E4 EV and L8 PHEV are supported by the LEX Platform, which serves as a foundation for the development of both vehicles. The platform is designed to support vehicle stability, cabin space, comfort, and efficiency through the ‘Four More’ concept: More Stable, More Spacious, More Quiet, and More Energy-Efficient.
LEPAS also applies the ‘Leopard Aesthetics’ design language, inspired by the calm, confident, precise, and naturally powerful character of a leopard. This concept is applied to the vehicle design by considering both visual aspects and a character that aligns with user lifestyles.
The presence of the E4 EV and L8 PHEV at the BCA Expo 2026 provides an opportunity for the public to get a closer look at these two electrified vehicle options. Both models are offered with different characters and technologies, allowing consumers to choose based on their specific mobility needs and activities.
Beyond the products, LEPAS also provides after-sales support through LEPAS Care to maintain the consumer experience throughout vehicle ownership. This service includes vehicle warranties, protection for batteries and electrification components, and roadside assistance.
