Lenteng Agung Road towards Depok Closed Until Tomorrow Morning

Jakarta Provincial Government’s Transportation Department has temporarily closed Lenteng Agung Road towards Depok from 2pm on 1 June until 5am on 2 June. Head of the department, Budi Awaluddin, stated the closure is for underground channel repairs by the Jakarta Water Resources Department (SDA DKI Jakarta). ‘The road closure is due to underground channel repairs by the Water Resources Department. We will deploy transportation department officers to guide residents to alternative routes,’ Budi said in a statement. The Jakarta Provincial Government apologised for traffic disruptions during the temporary closure. ‘We apologise for the temporary closure of Lenteng Agung Road heading south or towards Depok starting today,’ he added.
