Lenteng Agung Main Road Towards Depok Still Closed Tuesday Morning

Jakarta — Jalan Raya Lenteng Agung in South Jakarta, heading towards Depok, West Java, remained closed on Tuesday (2 June 2026) morning.

Warning banners about the closure were posted starting from in front of Universitas Indonesia Maju. Road access passing through SMAN 38 Jakarta was closed, with vehicles directed to a junction alongside the railway tracks.

Further notification boards were found at the crossing in front of Jalan Gardu. Vehicles were instructed to turn back, whilst motorcycles were still able to use Jalan Gardu.

“Depok, Klapa 2, turn left into the alley,” read a white board posted in front of Hotel Kartika One.

A number of motorcycles were still able to pass until just under 100 metres before the road project, then were directed to turn into Gang Empang.

Meanwhile, holes that had been filled and repaired with asphalt remained covered with thin white cloth. The project on both sides of the road had not yet been completed.
