Lemhannas Seeks to Foster World Peace Through JGF 2026 Forum
The National Resilience Institute (Lemhannas) is striving to foster world peace through the Jakarta Geopolitical Forum (JGF) X/2026, held in Jakarta on Thursday. Lemhannas Governor Ace Hasan Syadzily explained during a press conference at the event that participants, including ambassadors, diplomats, think tank representatives, and Lemhannas students, would discuss geopolitical developments. “We are discussing not only geopolitical aspects and political competition between countries, but also examining economic rivalry and technological competition,” Ace said. He expressed hope that the discussions would produce ideas forming the basis for strategic policies in each friendly nation. Ace expects these resulting policies to encourage the strengthening of multilateralism and the creation of world peace. He confirmed that the forum’s discussion outcomes would serve as a foundation for the Indonesian Government in formulating strategic policies that favour the nation. “The results of this seminar can also be used as a reference for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in making strategic policies related to strengthening multilateralism,” Ace stated. Through this forum, Ace hopes relations between Indonesia and friendly countries will grow stronger, enabling cooperation in creating world peace.
