Jakarta — Governor of the National Resilience Institute (Lemhannas) of the Republic of Indonesia, TB Ace Hasan Syadzily, said Lemhannas continues to undertake institutional transformation to address the increasingly complex global geopolitical challenges.

“We reflect on the challenges faced by our nation, which are certainly becoming more intricate. This is particularly marked by various changes in the global landscape, where our global geopolitics are full of uncertainty,” Ace Hasan said after attending the 61st anniversary of Lemhannas RI at the Lemhannas Building in Jakarta on Wednesday.

He noted that global dynamics characterised by interstate rivalry, technology disruption, and climate change require Indonesia to strengthen national resilience to anticipate the various impacts.

At the 61st anniversary, Lemhannas adopted the theme “Transformasi Lemhannas” as an effort to strengthen the agency’s strategic role in safeguarding the government’s priority programmes under President Prabowo Subianto’s administration towards Indonesia Emas 2045.

“This theme becomes the spirit for Lemhannas to continue adapting to the new challenges faced by the nation,” Ace said.

“We are committed to making Lemhannas a top national leadership education institution that produces leaders with holistic insights, global geopolitics, and geostrategy,” he added.

In addition to leadership education, Lemhannas also strengthens strategic studies to provide policy recommendations to the government and to consolidate national values amid developments in information technology.

“A new learning method for strengthening national values must continue to be developed amid those dynamics,” he said.
