Lemhannas Involves KPK to Brief Regional Leaders on Anti-Corruption

The National Resilience Institute (Lemhannas) is involving the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) to provide anti-corruption training to 25 regional heads participating in the Regional Leadership Consolidation Course (KPPD) Batch III. Lemhannas Governor Ace Hasan Syadzily stated that the KPK material will be delivered as part of the education programme running from 15 to 28 July 2026. “Tomorrow, the KPK will provide material on how regional leadership must maintain integrity and anti-corruption education. The KPK will be one of the speakers,” Ace said after the opening of KPPD Batch III at the Lemhannas Office in Jakarta on Wednesday. According to Ace, the anti-corruption briefing is important to strengthen the integrity of regional heads so they prioritise public service and prevent corrupt practices in governance. Ace explained that the learning activities at Lemhannas will last about a week before participants continue with a working visit to the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy in Singapore. The visit aims to deepen understanding of governance and public service. Afterwards, the education series will conclude with a two-day presentation of learning outcomes at the Human Resources Development Agency (BPSDM) of the Ministry of Home Affairs. KPPD Batch III is attended by 25 regional heads consisting of 23 regents and two mayors from various regions in Indonesia.
