Lemhannas Governor Takes P3N Participants to KPK Rupbasan, Emphasises Integrity
Ace said that in one of the modules of the P3N implementation, it is about strengthening integrity and anti-corruption education. Ace noted that before the learners are taken to the KPK Rupbasan, they had already been given classroom understanding related to strengthening integrity and anti-corruption education. ‘Of course it’s not only in the classroom in terms of how the integrity strengthening and anti-corruption education is conducted, but we also want to show the learners the importance of integrity by making a commitment to eradicating corruption,’ Ace told reporters at the KPK Rupbasan, Cawang, East Jakarta, Tuesday (19/5/2026). ‘Now, deliberately by the KPK they are brought to Rupbasan so that whatever form of corruption that harms the state, the proceeds of the corruption will be seized by the state and returned to the state,’ he continued. Ace hopes that, with presenting several pieces of evidence from this corruption case, the participants will have a strong commitment that dishonourable acts such as corruption will surely harm the state. The learners are also expected to understand that anything obtained from corruption is certainly of little use. ‘We hope that by bringing participants to Rupbasan this will further strengthen the commitment of our education participants as national leaders so that their integrity remains guarded, the commitment to eradicating corruption also grows stronger, and of course our country can be better by strengthening our realisation of good governance,’ he said. Meanwhile, KPK Deputy Chairman Fitroh Rohcahyanto told reporters that the KPK is introducing Rupbasan to show how seized assets are managed. Fitroh explained that introducing Rupbasan to P3N learners, who are mostly law enforcement officials, is hoped to become a role model. ‘The management of this evidence is hoped to become a role model for all law enforcement across Indonesia. And most importantly, the management of evidence requires officers who possess high integrity,’ Fitroh explained. ‘Hopefully this collaboration will continue and all stakeholders, all elements of the nation think the same that we must continue to combat corruption. Thank you,’ he added. (kuf/zap)
