Lemhannas Governor Reveals Prabowo's Message at DPRD Chair Retreat: Support MBG

Lemhannas Governor Ace Hasan Syadzily has revealed messages from President Prabowo Subianto during his speech at the DPRD chairs’ retreat in Magelang, Central Java. The messages included requests for alignment of regional and central government programmes, up to support for the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) programme.

“Overall, the President conveyed the need for solidarity and unity among all regional leaders in aligning national policies with local government policies,” said Ace to reporters at the Golkar DPP Building in West Jakarta on Tuesday (21/4/2026).

Ace stated that DPRD chairs are asked to share a common vision and mission with the centre and to understand the policies outlined in the Asta Cita. Furthermore, Ace said the President wants to build solidarity and unity even though the DPRD chairs come from different parties.

“There are from Gerindra, from Golkar, from PDI Perjuangan, from PAN, and all parties leading in their respective regions. Therefore, differences should not become obstacles to making society or local political leaders work together hard to achieve the Golden Indonesia 2045 vision,” he explained.

Furthermore, Ace revealed that Prabowo also wants DPRD chairs to commit to creating solidarity to resolve various fundamental issues. He mentioned that these issues include, for example, waste problems, to fulfilling basic societal needs.

“Such as the Free Nutritious Meals programme, of course, which will also be felt in the regions. Because with what is called a substantial budget,” he said.

“We hope that besides building public nutrition, it can also drive economic potential in society and job creation,” he added.
